RESEARCH
Depending on the product’s life cycle, I gather user insights through interviews, tree testing, card sort surveys, and workshops. I am intentional about sharing these insights and inviting my team to discovery sessions to build empathy for users across the organization.

I excel in translating user insights into beautiful design solutions. I build lo-fi prototypes for testing and pixel-perfect designs for validated concepts. As I design, I work closely with our engineers and design systems team to leverage and/or build reusable components for use across the organization.

CarMax’s rapidly expanding dealer SaaS tool, MaxOffer, was feeling growing pains that impacted both dealers and our employees. I lead the research to identify where pain points were happening and designed self-service tools to make the product scalable and easy to use.

After discovering that a large percent of titles were returned for corrections, I designed a solution that not only improved the lives of our customers, but also increased scalability of the product and reduced costly churn for the company as a whole.

When our dealer partners at CarMax struggled with how to track and send their titles we partnered with FedEx to come up with a custom solution that met our user’s needs.

Instant Offers
When dealers are working with customers, it is essential for them to get fast and accurate offers on vehicles. CarMax’s leading dealer tool, MaxOffer, was taking 20-30mins to get an offer back. Through user research, MVPs, and rapid iterations we delivered a unified flow experience to our dealers giving them offers in seconds on qualifying vehicles.
