The sooner, the better—especially for newborns or maternity. I recommend reaching out at least 4–6 weeks in advance. For newborns, we’ll aim for sometime in the first 2–3 weeks after birth, but I always build in flexibility in case baby arrives early or late.

Yes! I offer a weekday discount of $300 for sessions booked Monday through Thursday. It’s a lovely way to enjoy a more relaxed session with beautiful light and save a bit too. Just ask when you book!

I usually shoot at sunrise or sunset—the light is softer, warmer, and more forgiving. If that doesn’t work for your family’s schedule (especially with little ones), we can talk through what feels best. I’ll always prioritize your comfort and the overall experience.

We can shoot outdoors, in your home, or at another meaningful location. The Root Session offers time for multiple looks or locations, while The Field Session keeps it simple with one spot. I’ll help you choose a setting that reflects your story and feels natural.

Something you feel like yourself in. Neutrals and earthy tones tend to photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you’re comfortable and free to move, snuggle, and be present. I'm more than happy to help. with suggestions prior to the shoot.

Absolutely. I don’t expect kids to sit still or smile on command. I give them space to explore, play, and be themselves—some of the best photos happen in the in-between moments. Your only job is to relax and let the experience unfold.

You’ll receive your full gallery within 3–4 weeks, delivered via a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints. If you’ve chosen the full gallery upgrade, you’ll receive everything at once.

For locations most locations on the east side (from Silverlake - Pasadena), there’s no extra travel fee. For sessions outside this area, I may apply a reasonable travel fee depending on distance and logistics. We’ll discuss this upfront so there are no surprises.
