CarMax’s rapidly expanding dealer SaaS tool, MaxOffer, was feeling growing pains that impacted both dealers and our employees. I lead the research to identify where pain points were happening and designed self-service tools to make the product scalable and easy to use.

Instant Offers
When dealers are working with customers, it is essential for them to get fast and accurate offers on vehicles. CarMax’s leading dealer tool, MaxOffer, was taking 20-30mins to get an offer back. Through user research, MVPs, and rapid iterations we delivered a unified flow experience to our dealers giving them offers in seconds on qualifying vehicles.
